[*] 1980 Aria Pro II SB-1000
[*] Canadian ash body wings (oak finish), ebony fretboard
[*] Good overall condition
[*] Astonishing little fret wear
[*] Weighs in at about 5 kg
[*] No issues that affect playability or sound
[*] Small chip at lower horn, dent at back of the neck at second fret (I don't feel it while playing)
[*] Paint shows some spots around the fretboard edge
[*] Non-original strap pins (came to me with Schallers, which I got rid of)
[*] The only bass that the missus has ever wanted to stay, because 'it looks so nice' :)
[*] Located in Austria (I have already shipped basses to half of Europe)

Well, around £500 is the going price on eBay. Personally, prefer this second generation configuration ('78-'80), but it's not as popular as the third and fourth generations ('81-'87). The pre-production and first generation versions ('76-'77) usually attract a small premium though. A very small point against this example would be the non-original strap pins.

Well, eBay is eBay... I could sell lots of my gear there for 'premium' prices. :) But believe me, I'm not going to make any profit on this bass (as on any other piece of kit I have ever sold).

Fair enough to point out the strap pins. The base came to me fitted with nasty Schallers, which I replaced immediately. I will adapt my initial post.
