karlfer Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Nice one WoT. As a kid in the early 70's watching the likes of Sabbath, Heap,Zepp, Purple, Lindisfarne, 10cc etc on that stage, always dreamed of playing it. Never did, although played Middlesbrough Town Hall, Hartlepool Town Hall amongst many other gigs. Power to you for just gracing that mystical stage. All the best mate, Karl. Quote

We're you on the naughty step or something? Quote

karlfer Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Ye Gods, just scared mesel (sorry, my self). Had a flashback, stairs, half way up from groundfloor, on the landing. Fire extinguisher set off at Captain Beefheart gig. Accident, honest. City Hall, heartbreaking yet joyous site for an exile. Cheers WoT, turned a sh***y Monday round Karl. Quote
casapete Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Great stuff! With all the totty distractions hardly surprising that nobody noticed you had Michael McDonald depping on keys..... Quote

The best 'accents' always seem to surprise me on women who are incredibly intelligent and/or have a very high profile position in a company, then as soon as they speak, you suddenly realise all is well, and you can have a normal conversation with them. Geordie or Scouse accents on nice ladies are the best! Quote
Musicman20 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 PS - WOT - Do you need me, WH and Conan to be your roadies? I dont care what I carry as long as I can come to the gig! Quote
ogrimark Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Jesus, super jelous now.....when can i get dancing sluts on stage with me. You know you have made it when you have a plethora of dancing sluts did you not offer to defluff the costumes for them? Quote
wateroftyne Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 'Dancing sluts'. ha ha. You crual man. 'Bring on the dancing sluts!' Did I mention that we had to force ourselves to watch them rehearse for an hour in the green room? Nightmare. Quote
wateroftyne Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 By the way, I recorded part of the rehearsal. I thought you might like to listen to how well the TC head fits in the mix. Quote
