spinynorman
I've now found a new HSC for my recently acquired Ripper, so this Protec case is no longer needed. It's a rigid frame covered with heavy duty canvas-type material, padded with foam and polystyrene and lined with black faux fur. Interior dimensions: overall length 116cm, body length 53cm, max body width 39cm, min body width 33cm, headstock cavity length 22cm, depth 6.5cm. There is a bit of flexibility in the length, the Ripper at 118cm was going in ok, but pushing slightly on the end. It has an interior compartment and an external pocket. It's tatty on the outside and has been repaired inside, but is a serviceable case for larger basses for not much money. Shaggy
Off topic, but out of interest what HSC did you find for the Ripper ? I'm looking for one to fit a Steve Smith / Goodfellow custom semi that's 40cm across the beam and long-scale.
spinynorman
This one Don't be confused by the price which appears to be in Rand, it's sterling, they're in Kent and it came today from Sunday order. Nice case. Tight fit for your bass though. You might have to slit the lining, cut out some of the padding and glue the lining back. Reckon it'll have to be a Jack Casady case or a home-made job. Thanks for the info though, and good luck with the sale!
spinynorman
As of last Friday DV247.com did have a JC case in stock. Some places when you ask the online stock magically disappears.

spinynorman
Not a lot of watchers on eBay at 99p start. If it's going to go for next to nothing + postage I'd rather it was someone on here. Anyone interested at £15 including UK courier?
