Clarky72 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) NOW SOLD. THANKS. One well-loved bass for sale... Its a 1984 Matsumoku Aria Pro II SB Elite-II in beautiful translucent black. Its a bit of a rarity as they mostly came in padouk red or oak. • 2 MB II Double coil pickups • 5-ply maple/walnut transmit neck • 24 fret, rosewood board • Slimmer neck than the SB-1000 • Vol, tone, pu selector, 2 coil taps There's a small bit of wear on the edge near the strap button that I've marked on one of the pics, but that's it. Great condition, all original, plays beautifully. Comes with suitable retro burgundy leatherette gig bag. Looking for £500, I'm not looking for trades on this one. Metallica and Duran Duran fans should love this. I do. Edited December 19, 2010 by Clarky72
TheFear Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 i am so gasing for this, I WANT IT! anybody want my sunburst mex prescision with seymour duncans and gotoh bridge
Clarky72 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 When I said no trades, I mean none apart from a Fender Jazz Bass Special MIJ in black or white....
cocco Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 These are stunning! I have an ivory one. The neck plays like a rocket and it's great for pretending you're Cliff Burton. Even though mine couldn't look more 80s pop if it tried.
cocco Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I thought the control switches were a series/parallel and a coil tap?
Clarky72 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 No, pretty sure its 2 coil taps (dual sound switches). http://www.matsumoku.org/models/ariaproii/bass/sb/sb.html
Sibob Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Steve is a standup guy so deal with confidence! I've played this bass and it's very cool! Si
chopper Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I'm not allowed to buy, but it would be a nice companion to my two other SB's....
