TomKent
Thanks to the immense weight of my fretless (I really do mean immense, it weighs a ton!), I need a good strap which will support me while I play it. Any ideas as to the best one? Sorry if there have been a million a one topics about this..
WarPig
You'll get hundreds of various suggestions on this. You'll probably want an extra wide strap to help distribute the weight, if price isnt a concern, Levy's do some great wide straps, 3.5inch and 4. I personally use the MS26 which is 2.5 inches, its very well made. Edited December 8, 2010 by WarPig

bartelby
I bought a Mono strap for my Steve Harris P, but it does slide about a bit. I'm going to try a 3.75" wide leather strap like I use on my 5 string. Rich
I've been using one of the original not-Bass-Collection Comfort Strapps since, well, forever. Bloody marvellous thing. It's very noticeable that if I use my other strap, which is a padded 3" wide leather thing, my shoulder starts aching after a while. The thick padding on the Comfort one really seems to be doing its job well.
chrismuzz
I'd go for a wide strap. Levy's make the best straps in the world (and no i'm not an employee haha )

xilddx
I am still looking for a really good Leather strap like the one I have now. It has to be VERY supple padded leather, and adjustable. And absolutely no plastic parts. Just leather with holes in. I can't seem to find one.

They're kinda padded too...

SteveK
Bought these a couple of months ago. They really are quality products, with absolutely no metal or plastic.
