BottomEndian
It has a trump card; a piezo under the nut which picks up all sorts of unexpected harmonics and multiphonic effects...but you've got to know what you're doing with it.
Intriguing! Could you do us a quick audio sample of the nut piezo soloed (if that's possible)? I'd love to know what kind of noises it makes. Chris2112
Thats another masterpiece from Alan. Didn't he say he wouldn't be building anymore like this though?
Sibob
The ACG looks very cool, and the tune featuring it is great! Found 'your' bass in that? Si
In a nutshell, I think it was a hell of a lot of work for him and it was a job taken in a generous spirit of experimentation. I would guess that any more wacky jobs like this would be unsustainable for him. I'm sure Alan will shed more light on the subject if you ask him. Chris2112
Thats a shame, I've always dreamed of going to Alan with a particular shape I've had in mind and getting him to build it for me. No crazy Michael Manring style Piezo kit though!

steve-soar
That was beautiful. I felt a lot of truth in that song. Bass didn't sound too bad. Lovely arrangement but the words are the best for me.
