long scale on a medium scale bass

hi been looking for a half round bass string that is nickle.................... Absoulte pain! but then i saw the D'Addario these are pretty much perfect but the medium gauge is only in the long scale! so can i put them on my italia mondial??? or is thier any others?

Assuming the bass is 32" scale & the strings are for 34" scale basses, you *might* be alright with long scale as the italia has a good distance between
