K5 Fieldy pup problem

I am not gettting the tone volume out of my K5 that I should be.

I have tried a new battery but this has not improved anything.


Anyone got any suggestions or know anyone on the South Coast who has an understanding of guitar electricery?

How do you know there is a problem, how long you had the bass?

+1. What exactly do you think is wrong with the tone?

The bass is not outputting as much volume as my other basses, but playability wise it is my weapon of choice.

I am having to really crank the volume on the amp when compared to even my passive bass?

I found that with the K5 that I had. Its a nice playable bass but the output and sound just didn't do it for me.
