Jebo1
It is a refinish - fender didn't offer a natural finish until 74.

adledman
looks like dark brown varnish and not brown paint to me???
Jebo1
Sorry buddy, 'mocha' - the only original brown finish Fender offerred - was also introduced in 74. Fenders in 66' were either Sunburst or custom coloured, and brown wasn't a custom colour. Trust me.
Jebo1
And the bridge isn't original either. A 66 bridge would have had the pre=CBS style multi-ferruled bridge. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've spent a pathetically long time with vintage Fender basses.

For not completly-original?[/quote] ok, sorry about confusion: i have so many basses. It seems to be a ref. body, although this finish is everywhere, under the pickguard, control cavities, neck pocket.it's a high gloss over it, as on a 70'ies natural body. the bridge saddles are not the correct ones, the bridge seems to be from a later 69'ies model. i lowered the price too ! 1750 EUR WITH CASE !!!! the bass is VERY lightweigt and VERY resonant
