paul h
Two basses. One wireless system gaffa taped to my strap. So some kind of quick release strap lock would be cool. What sayeth you good people of yon BassChat?
skankdelvar
Me? Two basses. One transmitter clipped to belt. Unplug transmitter, swap basses, plug transmitter back in. But I take your point. IMO, strap locks would probably slow you down, particularly with sweaty fingers. Maybe just use normal strap buttons and avoid any jiggy-jiggy butt sashaying. Have you ever forgotten to disconnect, walked out of the pub, up to the high street to get a kebab, back to the venue, got in the car, driven home, got out of the car, gone into the house, gone into the kitchen for a cuppa/beer/biscuit, gone to bed, gone to sleep... ...only to discover you have been dragging your bass behind you the whole way? It's not really treating me, more like ignoring me! Luckily though the t-shirts are doing really well at the moment. Not sure how long that will last! citymariner
I use the Jim Dunlops - got them ages ago (10 years) they have been on numerous guitars and now reside on my new bass.
TheFear
dunlops i find bulky, much prefer Schallers, available in black chrome and gold
Jarhead
I use Dimarzio cliplock straps, which are very comfortable, but I think I'll be moving to Dunlops with Planter Waves straps soon, as the Dimarzio can be a little short for me, sometimes, and if I forget my strap then I'm knackered.
