Stagg 5 String bass BIN @ £88 - any good?

I'm tempted to hit the BIN, but don't want to be left with a pup that's hard to shift

I had one of those, it was an utter turd i'm afraid . Thin sounding pickups, horrid dry fingerboard and scratchy pots.
