Ampeg SVT 3 pro - recording

I am using my Ampeg SVT 3 Pro to lay down a bass track, I am DI ing from the back of the amp, is it Ok to DI without connecting the amp up to speakers? Or can this do damage.

Hi Mike, yes you'll be fine to do this - but to be on the safe side, keep the master volume down to zero (this should not affect the level of the DI output.)
