solo4652
Folks, I've posted this in the "Grooves" Forum, but it may be better placed in here. Mods, feel free to disagree. I'm trying to sort out the bass tab for Free Me by Joss Stone. I've found what purports to be the chords on the net, but I'm far from convinced they're correct. I think I've got the basic riff/Verse OK, but I'm struggling with the instrumental section that runs into "And we're singing in our own voice..." Can anybody help, please? Cheers, Steve

Lo.
Had a listen to this - nice track. The bridge is just based on A/D/G/C x 2, but the bass starts the 2nd time on the third of the chord (c#). Here's a quick non-perfect take on youtube for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUHnPoopn0I
Faithless
I may transcribe it tomorrow, but you'd only get notation, as I'm not doing tab versions - it just doesn't exist in music world, does it..

To the original poster, if you want it still, I'll have tab & notation done for you, just let me know. Jake

My initial stab at the bridge was A/C/G but I knew that wasn't quite right. Thanks for your correction. The Youtube clip is also very helpful. I'd found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfe7WMkK9Hk but it's a little difficult to work out what's going on plus it's a 5-string bass and I play 4-string. I've asked Jake if he'd kindly send me his tab. Steve
