Hallo,
i want to sell 2 Laklandbasses.
4-string in cherryburst with matched headstock.
5-string in LPB.
Each bass for 2.200.- EURO.
Greetings from vienna/austria.

The 5-string is 35", classic 594 Ser.Nr. 5736
The 4-string is 34", 4-94DLX cs Ser.Nr. 714
The 4-string is from the custom-shop.
Both basses made in the USA.
I buy both basses new at station-music in Germany!

Hi & welcome to BC, probably best to give some more details and pictures. Is it me or is the bridge on the LPB a tad near the back or is it the camera angle, nice basses I,m guessing US made.

Enjoy the Forum.

Nope - the bridge on the LPB is at least a full inch further back than on the Cherryburst. Look at the relative position of the bridge with the Volume knob on each bass.

I'm wondering if this is some sort of 34" / 35" scale thing?

Not sure how that would work, mind, but I can't see another reason.

Hi Hans,

What great basses you have. If the BG P/J has a Jazz neck and you ever want to part with it, please let me know :)

Hi Hans, greetings from Leeds. Definitely a reasonable price for such a beautiful bass; I used to have a Lakland Skyline 44-02 DLX and it was a real beauty (same finish as yours); I long to own a real US made Lakland. Sadly, I have no money hence the question about a trade. Best of luck with selling them Hans :)
