Villex custom pickups

I have two Villex (http://www.villex.com/) P pickups in EMG 45 sized cases. They are blade magnets (all enclosed) so string spacing is not an issue. They work fine and dandy, I am just going in a different direction.

Villex pups are fantastic, I had a set in my H1 Jazz. Big range of tones from low to high, lots of punch, and very powerful, and passive of course. Aside from Fralins, I'd say they were my favourite Jazz pups, so I'd asume the P bass version is just as great.

If I could answer that I would, but I am painfully aware that my "throaty" might well equate to your "grunt' or whatever else. There is plenty of everything there with a clear mid which helps them cut through.
