Chris2112
I get the feeling your Modulus could soon be going the distance to fund a Dingwall! I've always liked the look of the Prima basses most... This one here is owned by a Talkbass user, always struck me as particularly fine top... I like this one too... bubinga5
My word Chris..that one with the flame maple top is smokin...BUT..no GAS here... apart from a certain Lakland for sale.. they are way out of my league at the mo... If the string to string timbre is so evenly matched I can imagine them being well behaved at the desk and thus a pleasure to work with! charic
An ACG and a Dingwall in the same collection would be killer

Grand Wazoo
The more the merrier, it's a great concept and it's only fair other manufacturers are expanding on this design with their own versions.

Chris2112
I'm not really seeing the obvious Kubicki influence, but I do like the look of that. I think that kind of "massive pickup" style pickup cover is a useful thing given that so many people like playing with ramps these days. Grand Wazoo
if anything the body reminds me of a Vigier Passion bass
Chris2112
To me it has a slightly more elegant look than the Vigier.

Chris2112
As good as the LeFay effort is though, the Dingwall name is still synonomous with fanned frets, even more than the NOVAX name...how ironic! It's like saying "the best boutique bass made in New York City" everyone is thinking Fodera!
JTUK
I must be getting old...but I can't go for any of them. Just too fugly even if some of the woods look nice
dbass
That LeFay bass, in my humble opinion, is one of the ugliest basses I've ever seen! Urgh!

risingson
Everything about Dingwall's shouldn't be my thing by my usual standards (I love the Fender looks) but I will most certainly be looking at their Combustion's in a few weeks time when I get down to the Gallery next. They look awesome.
