Rodders
Percy Jones.................. Brilliant fretless player Anyone know anything more about him ( Playing techniques, have you seen him live?)
BB2000
Percy Jones, look him up. Sobering to think that good as he is, he's unable to make a living from music.
Shockwave
Yeah, hes been royally screwed by not receiving his Royalties! Love his fretless P tone.
Russ
His fretless bass video is well worth picking up - he shows off all his various techniques, including his three-finger right hand technique and sliding harmonics, and various bizarre ones, such as scraping scrings with fingernails to get harmonics, and pulling the strings completely off the neck (!). Awesome, awesome talent, and, in terms of innovation, pretty much equal to Jaco in my eyes. I'd love to get some bass lessons from him, if he fancies earning a few quid! funkysimon
I haven't heard much of their stuff, but an early album (Moroccan Roll) of theirs does have two of my favourite song names: 2. "Why Should I Lend You Mine (When You've Broken Yours off Already)" 3. "...Maybe I'll Lend You Mine After All"

BassBod
Saw him play with a version of BrandX about ten years ago, maybe a bit more - gig was ruined by a stupidly loud guitarist who seemed totally out of his head. Percy was playing an Ibanez (?) and didn't sound at all like the records. I used to love that early "Wal" sound, but I never got to hear it live. Alun
He still lives in Wales for part of the year and a drummer I know gave me his email address but I've been too much of a coward to contact him
