its smaller than 1/16'', which was the size my musicman needed[/quote]

Just had the same issue this very week. I bought a small set of keys both metric and imperial. A 1.3mm fitted OK but the 0.05" seemed better.

Cheers,

Mike (newbie poster afraid to admit he's got an (just gone bang) Ashdown amp)

Re allen keys: they vary between sets, manufacturers and country of origin.

I recently had to spend a whole £1.99 in Wilkinsons to get a set of keys which had one to fit my SX Jazz truss rod which has a Chinese made 4mm socket .. it's almost 4mm but not quite...
I took the detached neck in and just worked through their collection of Chinese made allen keys til I found the best fit ...

B&Q, any large DIY place, Bishopston Hardware, Gloucester rd opposite the Texaco petrol station by Drum Bank music or the
Tool shop 200 yards north of there on the left hand side:
Bishopston Tools (assuming it's still there)

Yes, its a .05" you need and they aren't that easy to come buy in my experience.

I also had to buy a set of 12 keys just to get the .05". I got mine from B&Q last year. the set cost around £12 but it is a good set.
