tredders
Apologies if this has already been posted, but I stumbled across this: - Click here! It's a list of their 30 'amazing unsung bassists' with sound clips to examples of their playing. It just helped pass 30 minutes of an otherwise dull day! Cheers Tredders

Mykesbass
Rant Alert........ Only gone through the first few as my blood was starting to boil, and I've decided (early New Year resolution) to stop being a grumpy old man, BUT, most of these are NOT unsung - prime examples Bernard Edwards and Duck Dunn!!!!!!!! OK, I'll accept Tommy Cogbill being unsung, but what a lack of thought by the compilers. Oh, and no Tony Goggle Rant over.

Hector
Of course there are thousands of unsung heroes of the bass world, but I do feel maybe Bobby Vega ought to get a mention. That guy GROOVES.
bobbass4k
I agree with that far more than their 25 best bassists thing, some very good choices there (Matt Freeman) but Geezer Butler? Not exactluy unsung, he was on the 25 greatest list.
WHUFC BASS
I wouldn't pay too much heed to these polls. They are largely irrelevant and attempt to measure the immeasurable. Its a bit like having a poll on which fruit is the best tasting.
Doddy
Another waste of time and bandwidth provided by Music Radar.
