Peavey basses usually are a safe bet.
Gust0o
If you love the playability, etc, then our opinions are moot at this stage Glad you've got something you like.
endorka
I have a Grind 6... in a studio shoot out a few months ago between that and 5 other basses, including a precision, the Grind was the one chosen to go on the track. It does sound different to a Precision or Jazz, but I think it gives a good alternative for people who would go for the "muso" tone, without actually sounding too much like the muso tone, which is not really to my taste. Mr. Foxen
I had a 4 string Grind (or possibly the immediate precursor) and I found the neck to slim but it was otherwise a very well made bass.

tauzero
Like Jennifer, I have a 6-string Grind. I had a play of assorted 5-string basses at PMT and found the Grind 5 was the most playable. I would like it active for preference so I might put an Artec preamp into it at some point.

badboy1984
They are good and the cost is good too. I use to own a Peavey Grind 6 which is 35" scale and Neck Thur bass. The sustain is good and nice dark growl type of tone. Sold it due to i want a warwick 5 string. Nothing wrong with the bass, if i have the money again i will buy one again.
