Bit of an odd one here, I have a Mexican Jazz bass but I am not keen on rosewood necks so was wondering what would a rosewood neck fetch if I was to sell this with tuners and string tree? Thanks

Depends how quick a sale you want. The Fender logo is important for some & EBay has seen them go for just shy of £100. That was before the recession though. Depending on condition I'd estimate between £65 - £100

it is an 09 model and basically as new would this make any difference?

Yes then, so maybe £150? What were you thinking?

I honestly doubt anyone will give you £150 for mim neck. Even if it's new, it's still the "lowest propper Fender" model. I'd say somewhere around £100 is fair price (just the neck, no hardware). No offense, just trying to help.

No offence taken, just asking just seen it is an 07/08 model, no idea why I thought it was 09, I blame the weather.

Harks back to my original post then. There is a US seller who breaks up new Fenders and sells the parts. They actually go for around the £150 mark BUT that said they don't sell quickly. I guess ultimately anything is worth what people are prepared to pay for it.

I'm actually looking for a jazz neck but I'm not looking to pay that much. It's only for a cheapy P copy so don't want to spend more than £50'ish.

They were already on the neck when I traded it

I think it's something there isnt much of a market for, If I'm honest. I'd expect to see one sell on here for £60, but not much more.

Funny thing is, I don't think the body would be worth much on its own either! might be worth putting the entire bass out there for trade?
