velvetkevorkian
I'm looking at this and would be kind of curious of any opinions. Their instruments look undoubtedly superb, and I have heard first hand glowing reports of some of these Chinese eBay imports (although only violins and violas). I have also heard that carbon fibre bows tend to punch well above their weight compared to traditional wooden bows of the same price (although they're selling some of them too!). So, worth a shot, would you say? I definitely think I'm ready for a new bow, the one I bought when I left school just feels too heavy and weighted towards the heel, but I don't have a big sack of cash to buy a nice wooden bow locally. Thoughts, comments, abuse all welcomed
I bought one of these when I first started playing. I had a few qualms about buying from China but the service and the delivery were excellent. The bow turned out to be a nice piece of gear, light and fairly well balanced with good horsehair. I still use it occasionally though my main bow is a Bob Gollihur brazilwood bow these days. Hope that helps, Mike E.
