adamk550 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I've been a signed up member for a while, thought it was about time I posted an intro ... I've been playing for 25 years, in a bunch of mostly covers bands playing anything from Iron Maiden to ABBA and The Nolans (!). Moved to the south west a little over a year ago so currently without a gig (hint hint!). I guess my strongest influence has to be Geddy Lee, been a huge Rush fans since before I started playing but I'd also add John Myung, Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Colin Edwin, Chris Wolstenholme, Stuart Zender, ... I could go on As for gear, I've been lucky enough to keep every bass I've ever owned, except for the very first one (but that was a plank so no loss!) so I have a small collection of 4, 5 & 6 string basses (Musicman, Yamaha and even Wal). They all go via a GK RB700 head into a couple of SWR cabs. Adam Quote
