Mikey D Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008
! The first; Two year old overwater 5 string. Fretted and fretless necks. (Obviously bolt on, -the fretted has a rosewood board while the fretless is ebony) 34" scale Swamp ash body with macasser ebony top. One overwater pickup. Totally passive...just volume and passive tone control. ....its kind of like gary willis signature bass but bulit by overwater with a fancy top! Oh...and its got a 'ramp'. Immaculate condition.
Typical...I just bought a five string fretted Spector as I couldn't find anything to match the gary willis model with frets! Although I'd still like to see a picture!

Not seen the Overwater FL as yet .. but was it based on my Gary Willis GWb1 that you tried some time back (in Leeds)?... .. and did you ever get rid of that 15lb 70's Jazz bass?... Cheers Dave (P.)
