Pow_22
Here are my two finished projects. The red one - early 90's encore. Replaced the white pickguard with a tort one. Replaced electrics with a custom made Kiogon wiring harness with mini pots due to the tiny cavity. Replaced stock white pups with Axesrus own brand ones. Strung with roto flats and added the tug bar. Left to do - full set up, maybe new nut, maybe Wizard Thumper The 'burst one - Squier affinity P. Replaced squier tuners with so no-name jazz ones sourced on here, added thumbrest, replaced wiring with standard kiogon harness, wizard trad pups, picatto flatwounds. Did fit bridge cover but prefer the look without it. Fully set up with super low comfy action. Left to do - maybe replace strings with roto flats or hotwires, picatto a bit 'dull' and 'dubby'

Grambo
OK, here's my 70's well-gigged P bass in original mocha - who needs a "road-worn" replica, only years of careful neglect will produce that patina.... Trouble is - it has to go, as it gives me neck-ache! simon1964
And here's the 1964 P in a family shot: First - CIJ 70s reissue. EMG pickups including an added J, volume/volume/tone controls and a Badass bridge. Its been heavily gigged over the years and has the battle scars to show for it. Second - The 1964 P, this time with the pickup ashtray off (so I can actually play it!) Third - CIJ '51 reissue with added Seymour Duncan quarter pounder. Currently strung with Chromes flats, and has an old school thump to die for! Edited October 16, 2011 by simon1964

simon1964
It is actually a bit more battered than it appears in the pics, but is very nice for its age! In addition to being my YOB bass, the neck is actually date stamped "5 Nov 64" - my day of birth! The 5 is actually the model number, the neck could actually have been made on any date in Nov '64, but still pretty cool

Pow_22
Some great looking P's in here. Alas im really not getting much use out of my red/tort/rosewood one in my picture. Im using the burst as a back up to my bison and as such thinking of banging it in the for sale thread. Done a fair bit of work on it tho so will be looking at around £140 for it
Hobbayne
My Squier 1960,s faker! Its based on a 1968 P Bass, but I have since replaced the control knobs with more convincing rusty ones!!
Higgie
I don't have any pictures of it by itself, so here's a family shot from a couple of years ago. She's the only bass in the picture that's still with me! 1982 Squier JV Precision, all original except Dimarzio Model P pickup. She also now sports a Hipshot Detuner. It's the best Precision I've ever played. Edited October 18, 2011 by Higgie
