Cheers :)
Stalking as in seeing if it comes up for sale? Unlikey I'm afraid. Been my only bass for the last 10 years.

hi Muzz,
late reply I know...

this was my previous P bass - a 1959 - black with birds eye maple board!! - bought in Oldham!!
this pic is with original scratchplate:

this is with black scratchplate - and 10 years more wear on the paintwork!!

sadly, got rid of it in 1995.

PS: i was a Worry Bead for about a week!
(left when Dean did)

Hi Mike, it's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it. Not even in undercoat. Love that P. Wonder where it went...

The Worry Beads no longer - there's an established American outfit of the same name. We are now This Uneven Sky. Album coming out next month...I may mention it once or twice on here :)

Edit: edited my sig now. :)

Hi Muzz,

will look out for album. best o' luck with it.
I sometimes wonder where the bass went - heard it may have been in bonecat and the neck may have been taken off it - dont know if it was true though.
I traded it to a guy in Burnley.

cheers,

Ok heres the Bitsa. All US bits apart from the Affinity body. Plays and sounds very pleasing and i am chuffed as its my first attempt at a build, soldering and setting up etc.

Aw thanks Chris. The scratchplate came with the Affinity Squier that i bought from Evil Undead on BC. She can tell you but its just a stick on thing over the original white scratchplate. Looks nice though :)

Fender American Standard Precision Bass, 60th year anniversary model 1951-2011

Ash Body with Maple Neck & Fingerboard, neck reinforced with cabon spars, hipshot tuners and hi-mass bridge, can it get any better?
