Vintage white, which after 34 means yellow. 10lbs in weight, plays and sounds fantastic. There some definate mojo about the older ones. Only problem is, they cost an arm & a leg! Quote
You should! Inspired by this thread, I took my old Precision to a rehearsal last night for the first time in ages. I usually take the Stingray or Shuker. To be honest, I'd forgotten just how good a passive P sounds in the mix. I was smiling all the way home Quote

Hopefully something will turn up here at some point where the seller is willing to ship. Quote

jensenmann Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) Here´s a picture of my Squier JV Precision. According to the serialnumber it seems to be an 83 model. The last owner added a DIYed active electronic with funky bass and treble pots. They interact in a weird way. When I took it apart I found out that the circuit had a flaw. After fixing it sounds pretty good. Usually I´m not a fan of active basses but in this case I´m absolutely fine with it. Edited October 26, 2011 by jensenmann Quote

My '56 (It's actually a 1/57 bass, neck and body both dated 1/57, but i call it a '56 when talking about it, so people know its the single coil version, anyway, here's a couple of pics, body is crazed to hell!!! Very cool, fell in love with it all over again today!! Quote

Kelso Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) This is my 75' P-Bass (100% original apart from the ash trays). Still don't have her yet but recently found out she has made it through customs so all is well. Should get her next week. Can't wait! She was an olympic white but has faded to a funky yellow colour - loves it! Edited November 9, 2011 by Kelso Quote
