Ooh! Ooh! I have one! And I love it. It's a Squier Classic Vibe Precision 50's, got it for about £70, and it even came with proper covers!

Here's my trusty steed. 1974, all original, well loved. My favourite bass I've ever owned, we've been together for 7 years.

:0 that really is so nice, I love the grain, is the finish really thin as the grain really seems to come through?

The bass is quite worn but I think it's just that the grain is particularly prominent on this p bass.
Great taste indeed :)

Sprayed up the headstock myself and quite pleased with the result.

My '76 freshly restrung (I know) with cover on.

Nothing wrong with a bass with covers on ,
A precision looks it's best with the covers fitted :)

Quite right there ! The 'I know' bit was referring to the age-old leaving your manky strings on a P bass opus !!!!

Manky strings rule. My favourite bass is whichever one is wearing the 8-year old set of flats I have ... will need to find a way to age a new set (sorry, that's a whole 'nuther topic, I know).
