Now that is quite something! I'd really like a P, but I have issues with the forearm contour which I'm not sure I can get round.

My '72, upgraded (who said ruined..!) with new nut, pots, jack and Badass. Still undecided about fully honouring the original owners wishes by fitting a J at the bridge... :)

More pics here - http://s42.photobucket.com/albums/e334/kin...tuntmen/P-Bass/
Okay, I'll have that one please. From the best year too, if my Ric is anything to go by. :) Please, no J pickup though....

Edit - now found a photo of the JV series 57 Squier before I modified it! :)
Well I was young at the time!

Not on par with some of the eye candy on show in this thread, but here are my current two (both keepers).
Will probably sell the jazz shortly and then it'll be precisions only for me.

Not the best photo but they are:
'76 Mocha and '81 Special.

Never heard about that before, maybe something for Mythbusters? :)
That 68 is a beauty
This bass sounds just incredible, actually it is not really what people think is "pretty".
But the bass is so organic, so natural. The first time i played that bass, we both become one..
this is the "one" bass in life, it feels and sounds like heaven. And the bass has the same sound than it looks like, very warm, deep and natural
If i ever need a kidney, i will give you all of my basses and more for that;)

Thanks John.

It's turned out better than I could have hoped for really, even the pickguard!

Might even get a chance to gig it at the weekend, just had a very last minute dep sprung on me.

Does my 85 G&L SB1 count - it was designed by Leo, has his name on it, has the split pickup etc.. Precision Mk 3 ?

Like This Not mine, but identical to it apart from the knobs

If not I will own up to sunburst precision 1977 from new, but now long gone. Well made, great tone, but poorly set up at new.
