I had a fender CS 1955 in a similar version

It was one of a handful made for Frankfurt Musikmesse 2005, based on Sting’s 56/57 bass - the tale with is that Bernard himself took one, mine was on the trade stand…and there were a couple in the US.

Sold it to @Beedster who moved it on eventually.

It was lovely.

Yeah, I think I played that whilst Beedster still had it (was collecting a blue Modulus Flea as I recall).

Nice!  I like the '55 P bass style. Kinda regret not picking up one of the CS ones from a few years back.
