blyn Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I would like to transform my 72 jazz back to original. The bridge I have is an original Badash bridge II with string grooves for Fender Jazz Comes with mounting screws. If you have a 70s bridge or a correct reissue I would like to trade. I attach a picture of the badash and a picture of the type I am looking for. Happy new year Brian
waldemar Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) Hi Brian, I'm certainly interested in a swap, don't know if what I have is close enough for you (rubbish pic below), it's a genuine Fender part (vintage re-issue) I picked up a couple of months ago but never used. I reckon I'll stay with the bridge I bought it to replace, so currently it's not doing very much at all. I have another bass that's crying out for a Badass, so if you fancy a trade then PM me man. Oh, and if you fancied selling it let me know what kind of money you're after. Cheers! EDIT: Just seen this further down the list: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=111226 That's probably more like what you're looking for, just thought I'd give you a heads-up as missing out by a day or two is a bummer... blyn Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 Hi Waldemar Thank for the offer. It is not precisely the correct type, so I will say no thanks. I have seen the orginal early seventies for sale and it could be perfect, if it wasent for the price :-) So I will keep looking for a reissue.. PM me with an offer if you are interested in a cash deal. Shipping is about £5 from Denmark. Regards Brian

blyn Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Thank you for the offer, but the bass it is sitting on is almost on its way to a new owner. Including the badash. Regards
