Bassmonkey
Cheers Dannybuoy. Good advice on size/bottom/sensitivity. Bassmonkey: louder than a B200R? Okay, maybe not too difficult a task... but if it really is, then I have to try one. Cheers! Mmmm. Citrus fruit.
I love the B200R but have been seduced by the size of the Orange. I will let you know after Saturday once I get chance to crank the Terror up a bit. I would say though that the Terror is easier for me to get a great sound from in my opinion.

Playing fingerstyle I had to have mine on about 5 volume and 2/3 for gain just in rehearsal but then I have a lighter touch. So I can understand it a bit more than I thought.
You could say that Tim. Comes from playing through under-powered combos for years - I`ve just developed a knack of hitting the strings way too hard, but I explain it away as saying that`s whats needed in a punk band

If you wish I can send em to you? Might help you get rid? No worries if not but might help Andy
Bassmonkey
So I used the new Orange rig on Saturday night in a large concert room. I was really impressed with the performance of the Bass Terror. There is tons of headroon, I played at less than half the available volume. The sound is sweet and there was no buzz or rattles even when at volume. Even my Rickenbacker which is notoriously buzzy at times was kept quiet. As for being small and compact, absolutely. Shame I then had to help shift the rest of the bands gear too though. I am a happy camper! Andy

I`ve currently got a buyer who has paid a holding deposit, but you never know, my buyer may pull out, so that would be appreciated. Low End Bee
Mine sounded marvellous on Friday night. I get more pleased with it every gig. I just went through just the one TC RS210 cab and DI through the PA via the attenuator thingy. Stage volume set to just over 2, gain on 5. Plenty loud enough. Done and dusted in one go. This tragically left me more time to Quasimodo myself lumping the friggin PA cabs in...
