JakeBrownBass
Hey guys, wasn't quite sure where to put this so if its the wrong place, please move it mods. Basically, my Siggery bass has its truss rod at the bottom of the neck, and no channel to adjust so want one putting in. Does anyone know someone in Manchester that can do this, or any local bass chatters?? Any help is much appreciated Jake
solo4652
I've used Ged Green for repairs before. He's in Cheadle. http://www.gedgreen.co.uk/ Steve
Dood
Jon Shuker is based at Hope in the Peak District and is very easy to get to from Manchester. longtimefred
Dougie Wilkes would be able to do that, he is in Keele in Newcastle Under Lyme. I know it's not in Manchester but not too far down the m6 and the man is a genius. He has a website but I can't remember it so just google him if your interested. Muzz
Steve Curtis working out of PMT in Manchester has done some work for me in the past (and is about to do some more). Very highly recommended.
sshorepunk
Yeah, Steve Curtis is good, always busy Ged Green is good also, he has done a few jobs for me I know of another guy who has been in spain for a while, he may be back in the UK soon, he is very good, I think Ged Green took over a lot of his work a few years back. I'll get more info on this when I can Tony
indiegrungesound
Aside from the Repair Shop @ PMT Manchester, I'd also recommend this fella: www.jacksinstrumentservices.com Hope that helps.
colleya
I'll add my recommendation for Steve Robinson (manchesterguitartech.co.uk). He's done a great setup on my jazz and has my P at the moment. His workshop has been crammed with guitar cases each time I've been round, which is always a good sign.
