minkey1980
So just wanted to share an experience with you... , there I was sitting with my 2 year old lad watching Cbeebies when Zing Zillas comes on. Hmmm I think, cup of tea time. Anyway, as I start walking away I hear some proper funk bass emitting from the tv set and turn round to see Stu Zender with his amazing signature Warwick playing with a load of monkey puppets... I mean, just how good can kids telly get???? Dont believe me, well its on You tube. wow..,... Stingray5
Jeez, when did kids TV get so cool? I see they've also had the likes of percussionist Evelyn Glennie, slide guitarist Michael Messer and even keyboardist Dr Lonnie Smith - aka Lonnie Liston Smith. Dom in Dorset
Note that while the rest of the band are apes the drummer is a monkey.
peted
Watched this with my 2 year old too. Couldn't wait for the last coconut and the big zing!
bartelby
Also notice that Drum is the only one without much vocabulary .
And called the same as the "instrument" she plays, so she can remember. I love Zingzillas. Favorite episodes so far have been the Theremin one and the Evelyn Glennie one. Not seen the Zender one yet, but it's only a matter of time.
