Loving the look of the silver single H one!

Wouldn't mind a Red PJ ala the first picture, or a Silver single H ala the last picture :)

Already toying with the idea of getting the Silver H and adding a Precision Pickup, and considering i'm broke and saving for an amp...

If people are telling you not to buy a Squier because of the name on the headstock they need to think again.

Several of the Squiers are extremely good value for money and play fine straight out of the box - in particular the Classic Vibe series. Although that's not to say that they can't be improved with pickup/tuner/electronics upgrades.

Get down to your local store and try one.

I'm not being a troll but to add to the above I have played more bad MIMs than Squiers in the last few years. I'm sure the MIMs could be set up to play good if you purchased it but off the peg the Squiers are good and you will find many others on here like me with £1000's of gear in their sig with no hidden agenda.

Obviously I would have one with a MM pup and at £209! I'm interested too.

The name and quality of items don't necessarily really relate, especially not in the case of Squiers. They have been made all over the place to varying price points so the quality of things with the name on varies, but within particular series are comparable.

Dunno bout that humbucker. Looks kinda skimpy. The sunburst special could do with the block inlays IMO.

PaulE, I wouldn't worry about quality when it comes to squire. Everything above the Affinity range is uber reliable.

Yeah.... need these to come out on the used market pronto. Swap out the electronics, bridge and tuners and still come out less than a CIJ. Mmmmm.

I'm loving my CV-P - never thought I'd be so happy with it.

Who'd have thought that in 2011, with the numerous bass manufacturers out there of many prices, hot topic on BC would be the new Squiers???

Bit like Skoda syndrome, isn't it?
