Rootdown Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) Hello! I'm selling my Eyb Magnum 5 String made by Günter Eyb, a great German luthier. For more information about his instruments, check www.eyb-guitars.de (the site's in english ). These basses are quite rare as they're no longer build as a regular model. The price today would be around 1800,-GBP. This bass sounds great! It's a puncjy sound, defined and warm lows, tight mids, crisp highs. But never boomy or harsh sounding. The only two reasons why I'm going to sell it are the two custom basses I already have. And at the moment, I need to fund a small amp ... so this baby has to go. This bass is in good condition. Some minor dings and dongs, but nothing bad. Most of them aren't big enough to take a photo. Some specs: - ash body - maple neck - ebony fretboard - black finish - matching headstock (there's ebony on it) - Rough Cristal pickups - Kurandt 2 band activ/passiv electronics - 35" scale - new strings (DR LoRider) since yesterday I value this bass at [s]800,-GBP[/s] [s]760,- GBP[/s] 710,- GBP. This includes standard shipping to Great Britain. Or make a reasonable offer! For trade, I'd accept a small lightweight amp + cash. For example: Marbass F500 or LMII/III, GenzBenz Shuttle 3.0/6.0, GK MB-200/MB2-500, etc For more information and pics, please contact me. Best regards Edited January 9, 2011 by Rootdown
