Lozz196 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Just a brief review of the Ampeg SVT210AV Cab, which matches the VR Amp Head. 200 watts at 8 ohms, two ten-inch speakers. This cab is very manageable, and can be lifted easily with one hand. Looks cool, with the vintage-y silver tolex. Soundwise, this is where the cab is at. I`ve paired it with my Ampeg SVT410HE cab, using a Fender MIA Precision through my TC Electronics Classic 450 amp. With this, each cab is getting 225 watts. At rehearsal, I`ve had the amp on up to 3.5, which was way too loud for the guitars & drums, and the 210 showed no signs of straining at all. Although I had the Tubetone on the amp on 4, the cab wasn`t distorting or farting out. Plenty more headroom available, I shudder to think how much In summary, its a great sounding, easily portable cab, and am sure for small gigs it would have the volume necessary, if not perhaps, the physical presence. I`d recommend this cab. Quote
