Could go for a song. Quote
Happy Jack Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I'm bidding on that - thanks for the heads-up. Quote
Mike Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Great. There's one bargain I've been watching for week gone then. Quote

Happy Jack Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I don't follow some of these comments. If it was a "bargain" at £275, presumably that only applied because no one had bid for it. Did you really expect to get it for £275? If so, why? If you wanted it badly, and £275 was a "bargain", then the Buy-It-Now of £425 was at least pretty reasonable, and had been available to you for six days. If you want something, go for it. If you don't want it that badly, or can't afford it, choose a more realistic target for your affections. Quote
BigRedX Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Actually the seller has probably pitched this just right. The BIN price plus postage is slightly cheaper than the last couple of 'Fish I've seen on TB would have been plus postage and customs and they were in more 'desirable' finishes. I'll expect this to go for somewhere between the BIN and £500. Any more and the winner would have been better off importing... Quote

BigRedX Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Ta... ;-) In the end not too bad a price. Was I bidding against any other BCers? I'll post a review in a couple of weeks. Quote

Couldn't really justify another bass, and I'm skint! Maybe I'll see it at a Bass Bash? Hamster Quote
Happy Jack Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Nice work, sir. I think anything under £400 is decent value for money for that bass. I really was tempted by the BiN but, like Hamster, I couldn't really justify it. I'll read your review with interest, maybe even start monitoring eBay for another one. Quote
