I reckon you could find something like an old Peavey TNT, Laney, OHM, Carlsbro - they might be old, bulky even a bit smelly! But sound ok, the electronics etc are pretty easy to maintain in these amps too.

Keep a close eye on the classifieds on here, i just picked up a Peavey 300 Combo for £120. Loads of amp for not a lot of money. Its old, but is bullet proof. You just have to keep on looking and be patient................
