dead Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Hi there I'm selling an EMG kit. 2 Jazz Pickups for 5 strings in ebony, send with pots and active/passive switch already wired. they look like soapbars, size : 28.5mm * 103.5mm.

Are the pickups hardwired, or do they have the quick-connect? Are they the older type of quick-connect, or the modern solderless version? What are these pots? EMGs are active pickups only, so the switch cannot be an active/passive switch.

JimBobTTD Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 The pickups seem to have been customised...set in some plastic of some sort so they would fit in Bartolini spaces. The SJ and LJ EMG are, as far as I know, standard Jazz shaped pickups. The switch seems to be an on/off switch for the battery (taking the earth wire from the battery out of the circuit). EMG actives are active only and do no work without power. Any more info about these pickups? Where did you get them from?
dead Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I bought them, on the web but they don't fit in my bass so i sell them I don't know any more about them. they have been customized ok, but not in plastic, this is ebony.
