Annoying Twit
There's not anything particularly newsworthy about this bass. I just think they look really nice. lemmywinks
These are great, i mentioned them in a thread the other week. Retailed for around £400 and they don't come up too often - there were loads of lesser models but not so many 68 ones. Nice chunky bridge and curved top, active/passive and series/parallel switches, very well made and do a great Flea impression. IIRC all the hardware was a brushed chrome effect and the bridge was recessed. The one i played was lighter in colour (kinda like pale ash colour) and had a more uniform grain than that one. Gonna keep an eye on this one i reckon, the postage is reasonable too.
bartelby
That's a nice looking bass! When I was younger I wanted a pearl white one after seeing Billy Gould playing one...
Bassassin
These are still available new: http://www.projectmusic.net/aria-igb-68-ba...itar-3391-p.asp There are one or two on the Bay: http://musical-instruments.shop.ebay.co.uk...6.c0.m270.l1313 This design dates back to the mid-80s and early ones were MIJ - not 100% sure but I think the pearl-coloured one is an 80s example, looks like it has the old SB - type bridge. sprocketflup
the best bass Ive ever owned was an IGB40, had PJ pups and a lovely neck Im still on the lookout for one, in walnut/dark if anyone should happen to have one lying around
Maverick
I have an IGB 50 (passive PJ), it's a great bass. My Dad, knowing nothing about basses, picked it up for £100 from a friend and I wasn't expecting much, but it ended up being my main gigging bass for quite a while. noelk27
My one and only factory Aria Pro II five-string is an IB-CST. Not sure how many thru-neck Arias came fitted with Bartolini pickups and pre-amp. Lovely. And rare.
