pikeman
Right Basschatters, here's my problem. I've blown a speaker in my 4ohm Warwick WCA 411 cab. I checked out the Warwick site and a replacement will cost in excess of £100. I believe the speakers are custom Eminence speakers although I could be wrong....any ideas? Looking round a few sites I see I can buy a full set of speakers for under £200 and leave the remaining 3 from the Warwick for future projects or for selling on. So, my question to you is what would you put in the cab, a complete new set or just replace the blown speaker? I want to keep the cab at 4ohms. I hope someone can give some good info. Cheers, Steve. goblin
I'd just replace the bust speaker with a nice 16ohm Eminence or Celestion if it was my choice. It depends what the odds are of you blowing another one in the future though.

goblin
Well from having a look at my WCA cab (only a 211 but similar concept) the "custom" drivers look pretty close to an Eminence Delta. the WCA 411 is a 600watt cab although it peaks at 800watt, and judging from what you've said you've got the 4ohm model, so really if you can get your hands on an Eminence Delta at around 200 watts and 16Ohm, you're winning. bigthumb
Get the blown speaker repaired? http://www.wembleyloudspeaker.com/ I've sent a few drivers here to be sorted and its not too expensive. pikeman
Hadn't thought of that Bigthumb. I'll contact them and see what they say. Thanks.
bigthumb
Failing that the Eminence 'Legend' 10" would be a good replacement.
