Dave D
Hello to you all. Been having a read of some of the threads recently, and though i'd join in. I'm Dave from Essex, and passed the age of 40 a few years back. Have been in bands since school, and gigged regularly until i was about 40, when i just stopped, and sold up. About a year ago, my new wife bought me an Ashdown combo, and a Peavey Cirrus 4B (bubinga). I soon got back into it, and have been in a few cover bands since. Have just joined another local band that shows promise of regular gigs. Lots of talent and enthusiasm. I've upgraded the combo into a Mag 300 head and a 410 deep cab. The sound is great (to me). Am just looking at a new MM Stingray 3eq. It seems great to play, and has a great range of sounds. I also have a ME20B pedal, although i admittedly don't use it enough. It provides tuning duties, and a little chorus and compression. I wouldn't call myself a great bassist, but i think i do a good job providing a solid rhythm section Edited January 16, 2011 by DrDave
