waynepunkdude
Just changed the neck on my P/J and it looks awesome. That is all. Before After
Cat Burrito
Nice one Wayne. I'm amazed we don't all do this more. My old 57RI P-bass had been redundant for years so I put a 62RI neck on it and now it gets gigged a lot more. As for the neck from the 57RI, I stuck that on some old 70s parts and that was my number one gigging bass all through 2010. We forget the Fenders were designed for the necks to be easily switched. ShergoldSnickers
Just spotted this. Transformed it - good move there Wayne. Maple necks and darker bodies just go. Coupled with the block inlays.... spot on.
Dom in Dorset
Did the bass need much setting up after the transplant or did you just put the strings back and everything was fine?
waynepunkdude
Straight on and well playable.
