fryer
I've had this since the 60's. Condition, well, umm, used. It hasn't been used for at least 40 years. It has the original Goodmans 18", Audiom 91 speaker, which still works. I know I should state a price, but I've no idea what it is worth. Any ideas ? It's about 20" wide x 30" high x 12" deep. About the price. I've been offered £100 to £150 by a collector, so I guess £130. Edited January 24, 2011 by fryer

Oldman
Wow, I used one of these as an extension to an AC 50 and Foundation 18" in the Cavern in the mid 60's, some waft. The Foundation was used facing the corner of teh stage and the Goliath faced out........serious air movement in a cellar. Aaaaaaaaah, nostalgia is'nt what it used to be. Happy Jack
That's my old Selmer Goliath 1x18 in the background, with my Simms-Watt 100 1x18 in the foreground. Regrettably, I found that it wasn't worth very much at all. Can't remember what I sold it for, but I think it was about £100. That was maybe three years ago. bumnote
I used to dream of owning one of those.I remember seeing Chris Farlowe at the birdcage in Portsmouth, Albert Lee on Guitar. The bass player had one of those and it seemed to cut through ok. Why I am schlepping round with 3 or 400 watts these days I dont know

gjones
I used to have an old Orange cab with an 18 inch speaker from around about the same period. You needed a hugely powerfull amp to power it because it was 16 ohms. What impedence is yours?
fryer
It's the same, 16 ohms. It actaully says 15 / 16 ohms. And it's 50 watts, and 110 watts USA - are American watts smaller ? Aparently it is a ' David ' cabinet - smaller than the Goliath.
