Dave D
Does anybody have any recommendations for guitar leads? I've never really given it too much thought, but should really give my new Stingray the best chance when i finally decide on the colour!! voxpop
I use The Chord Company Cream cables...very expensive but sound great designed by a bass player. Lozz196
Basschats very own OBBM www.bassic-bits.co.uk Fantastic cables, at prices that are the same as what you would pay in a music shop for the ordinary ranges. Coudn`t believe it when I A/Bd my OBBM cable against my trusty old Planet Waves cable - much more even full-bodied sound. Very hard-wearing cables as well, a real quality product. All my cables (inc speaker) are now OBBMs.
Captain Rumble
http://www.bassic-bits.co.uk/ Surprised no one else on here has suggested them I type so slowely that 2 others have suggested since I started Edited January 17, 2011 by Captain Rumble
Cat Burrito
I too have used both OBBM and the Chord Company. Whatever you decide cables are not something players should ever skimp on. If you spend all your hard earned on a decent bass and amp, it is quite simply absurd to then connect them with a £3 cable. And yet people do!?! lemmywinks
I use a mix of obbm and homemade ones, all have Van Damme cable with Neutrik connectors. There's a lot of snake oil with cable marketing - you really don't need to spend any more than obbm's prices. His stuff is pro quality for a much lower price than equivalent branded cable. TheRockinRoadie
I've just bought an Elixir cable on recommendation from friends, but i wish someone had shown me OBBM's site! I think the layout of the website is brilliant - plain, simple, and to the point. At least i now know where to get my cables from - I think my next purchase will be an OBBM speaker cable for my amp! Paul S
Another endorsement for OBBM. You could tow a truck with the speak cables I got from him and he is an absolute gent to deal with.

As has been said here, I also A/B'd against my old leads. The difference was astounding. 1 year on, leads all still working and sounding perfect. Buy and you will totally not regret - and great service too!
