I agree with Beedster that Mighty Mite necks are excellent. I put a strat together using a mighty mite neck and body. The quality was superb and my guitar-playing son has been very pleased with the result. I got both neck and body from ebay.

Recently had a Mighty Mite Jazz 5-string neck off Chop-the-bass on the forum, so I’d bet he knows where to get them. Lovely neck, although he reckons on most “after-market” necks the lacquer is too thin and the frets may need a bit of re-dressing – he did that with mine (top coat in clear acrylic) and it looks & feels really nice. They're endorsed by Fender too.

I have a P-Bass that Beedster put together. Sports a Mighty Mite neck and it's fantastic. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=10907
Good luck with finding a supplier. :)

Should add to this that Mighty Mite are very good, Warmoth are probably even better, however Warmoth are far more expensive. The Mighty Mite neck on Sparky's Precision is however WITHOUT DOUBT the sweetest Precision neck I've ever played.
Why did I seell that bass? :)

Fear not Sir. The MkI has found a good home with me - I'm taking good care of it and it's getting played... lots. :)
