Needs a bit of work but yeah cheap. I sold my black Spoiler for £1500 a few months back on eBay

I checked and the reserve is more than a grand, so I guess this isn't going to sell unless there is a last minute flurry

Interesting one. As one of the 'cheaper' Alembics I would have thought that you got a very good price for yours at £1500 Clarky...

As far as Derek's bass goes, the damage and the age would lower it's value to well below a grand IMV - but how much does its history [i]really[/i] add to the value? I think he may be a bit ambitious setting the reserve that high.

Having said that, New Gold Dream is one of my all-time favourite albums. I always loved the bass tone, but never realised it was a Spoiler! I guessed it was a P. Shows what I know!
