steviedee
Hi folks looking for a set of strings that are good for pizz but can slap a bit on, I have the tapewound black innovation rabs which I loved initially, but when I play my other bass with the steels I love the projection, so looking for a halfway house. TheRev
Silver Slaps? I've not tried them personally but they seem to be the string of choice for pizzers & slappers over on Talkbass. Perhaps Obligatos could work as well. I doubt you'll be able to keep up triplets on them but the projection is good and the tension should be low enough for slappin'. Gareth Hughes
Kolstein Heritage strings have a lovely low tension to them, designed to emulate a gut feel. Me likee a lot.

Personally, I use the red ones the postie kindly leaves on my doorstep.
