ben604
Hello! We're just starting to acquire live gear and monitoring seems to always be on the back burner, but I think it'll massively improve my singing. Anyways, came across this and though it looks like a great idea: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/B205D.aspx Anyone tried one? They're only £122, mega cheap! Ben.
Mace
I'd be interested in anyone's views on this too... anyone out there got one?
bertbass
Monitors certainly help to sing in tune but I have my doubts as to whether this would be able to cut through the back line and drums and reach your ears before feedback took over. Probably good for acoustic bands though. Be interesting to see if others have tried one and what they thought.. guybrush threepwood
I once used one at a gig with a 3 piece rock band, it was pretty much useless.
Moos3h
We use these and they are BRILLIANT! The point of them is that they are supposed to be RIGHT by your ear. Use them like that and they are just great.
Monckyman
Use a cheap IEM set. Better bang for buck.
